Catch her always in good spirits with a can-do attitude for helping our clientele. She has been an essential pillar of our team for over two years and has been an impassioned consumer for over 15 years, finding mindful consumption and intentional use of 🍃 to be empowering and aiding within her personal life. Entering this retail space has given her the opportunity to learn more about 🍃 at the professional level and integrate one of her passions into a career. Being able to uncover intentional use with customers gives direction to her recommendations, by doing so she sees more people discovering new benefits with the integration of 🍃, and recently more prominent minor-c*nnabinoids, into their routines where it personally fits best. She emphasizes that the environment of Golden Harvest, paired with a cooperative and knowledgeable team, and an extensive menu turns the job into something more than working at dispensary but rather a catalyst for community. Being able to create long last relationships with customers is another fulfilling aspect of what Carolyn does and enriches her days at the shop. So why Golden Harvest? "It was the community and education aspects that really captivated me." Tyler says. His energy and style elevate our eclectic team. Tyler loves debunking the notorious myth behind "otherworldly 🍵HC percentages." Instead, he guides his trusting clients toward terpenes, quality, and choices that actually meet their needs. Plenty of our regulars were thrilled to see him join our team, recognizing his top-tier service from his previous role. For a product to be deemed excellent by the Wizard, it must be handled with the utmost care during post-harvest.

AKA MADOOBIE, AKA OUR LOCAL DAB QUEEN. 🍯👸 Want it short & sweet? Mel loves this $***! 💯 She is an enthusiastic consumer + long-time industry worker who always brings good vibes to Golden Harvest; she started at 7Acres on the production side, ventured into retail with some of the larger chains, and comfortably landed with us. She is open and candid about her journey with c*nn*bis as it played a pivotal role during times of her personal battle with addiction. When she considers what makes a product excellent she puts transparency in high regards. The more info producers can fit on their package the better!(Just look at @woodynelson.ca and @saucerosinlabs ) When asked about what makes Golden Harvest different she had this to say: "We all have different strengths, and as a team, we sparkle. We genuinely love coming to work, who we work with, and we know our customers very well. It's hard not to be happy here."

Simone McLeod: Known for her emotive use of the Woodland Style, Simone’s work often features the “line of life” and vibrant color fields. Her technique focuses on the interconnectedness of all living things, blending human and animal forms to tell stories of healing and love. Frank Polson: An Algonquin artist who masters the traditional formline and bright acrylics to capture the rhythm of the North. His work is a tribute to the “Grandfather” teachings, using bold outlines and sunset hues to preserve the oral traditions of his people. (Actually, you probably already have - she is an original team member from our humble beginnings in 2022.) Our team manager, and purveyor of the finest accessories, is the second person we're going to feature in our Superhero Staff Spotlight. Making sure our lovely patrons can have the best assortment of accessories comes from her expertise in curating accessory catalogues, starting back in 2019 at a glass + grow store where she'd hone her skills. Being able to lead a team that is driven by providing the pinnacle of customer service inspires her - she recognizes that Golden Harvest is different than other retailers and a lot of that is because of the team. When serving clientele she brings a welcoming and stigma-free approach. Her definition of an excellent product is one that is intentional and consistent; putting value on producers who focus on refinement, longevity, and user experience. She is always happy to greet you in the morning and showcase the Golden Harvest sparkle - genuine and people-focused service that makes an impact, and not settling for "good enough."

Kicking off our Superhero Staff Spotlight we have ZACK 🔥 Zack is a seasoned consumer and has been actively involved in the retail side of our industry for 3 years. From handling green stacks in the banking world to peddling bags of green, Zack has brought his personal touch to our team and continues to impress. He enjoys showcasing an array of winning criteria amongst our diverse selection of products once he's uncovered your shopping needs. When curious customers want to learn more Zack wants to provide information that they can understand because he knows an informed consumer makes for a happy customer. As the rules around products evolved Zack has been thrilled to see the multi-packs hit the market - being able to provide more value for customers that enjoy an elevated snack. 🍬 Did we mention that the older ladies absolutely adore him?👵 (It's gotta be that smile😊)

If you’ve been by the shop you know we’ve used temporary boxes while waiting for official replacements. We told the team “This next temporary bin is massive!” And they said “Bring it!” 80lbs of packaging inbound! Don’t worry Golden Crew - you’ll see two familiar Purple Bins for your recycling back in our vestibule very soon.

We've evolved our menu into a truly curated and expansive experience, meticulously crafted to delight and surprise you with every visit. You've come to know and love our commitment to stellar customer service from a team that is not only welcoming but also deeply knowledgeable. Our interior also has transformed over the three years. Entirely adorned with vibrant, large-scale Indigenous artwork that captivates viewers with a tribute and glimpse into the rich culture of this land. Additionally, the mesmerizing 280-gallon aquarium has become a source of tranquility and wonder for all who walk through our doors. This evolution wouldn't have been possible without you, our cherished patrons and our wonderfully supportive brand partners.
